Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community?
The Codiac Regional Citizens on Patrol Association (CRCOPA) is welcoming applications from residents interested in supporting community safety throughout Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview.
CRCOPA is a non-profit volunteer organization that works in partnership with the Codiac Regional RCMP to support crime prevention and encourage community involvement.
What Do Our Volunteers Do?
CRCOPA volunteers serve as additional eyes and ears in our communities.
Through organized foot, bicycle and vehicle patrols, trained volunteers observe and report suspicious activity, identify potential safety concerns and help promote safer neighbourhoods.
Our volunteers are not police officers. Their responsibility is to observe and report, not to confront individuals or enforce the law.
Who Can Volunteer?
No previous law enforcement experience is necessary.
To qualify for membership, applicants must:
Be at least 19 years of age.
Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
Have lived in Canada for at least 1,095 days (three years) within the past five years.
Successfully complete the required application, screening and training process.
These eligibility requirements support CRCOPA's work in partnership with the Codiac Regional RCMP.
What Happens After Applying?

Eligible applicants will then receive additional information about the application and screening process, including the required RCMP record check.
Information about upcoming orientation and training opportunities will be provided when dates are confirmed.
